Cassandra Ward beauty would like to express that their operational methods are taken very serious to ensure the safety myself and my clients. All parties involved  should  have an and clear and concise understanding of what it means to be ‘safe’ on set during the covid era and beyond.CDC website found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/index.html

Here are a few operating procedure you can expect from me.

Pre shoot consultation planning

  • Prior to the shoot, I will research all the talent to create plan for all talent that will require makeup. This will help me have a better understanding of what to bring on set I won’t need to bring a full kit if the items are not needed. Specific to the talent.

  • Request that production allow me to communicate with talent prior to the shoot so I can learn what they are most comfortable with.

  • conduct a question and answer session with the producer to ensure the safety of myself and all talent and crew involved in the vanities area. No extra ppl around the vanities area

  • Create  a checklist of what I will be provided and what will be expected from me for example PPE, sanitation care items, These details will be discussed and agreed upon prior to stepping on set.

Day of the shoot

  • Appropriately wear a tight fitting mask that covers the nose, mouth and chin for myself and talent.

  • Request to work  in a space that social distance guidelines can be follow or outside in a tent whenever possible.

  • Hand washing and properly disinfect working area with hospital grade cleaner

  • Setup necessary kits items to use for job

  • I will use disposable implement and tool where necessary to ensure the quality of work expected.  All brushes and tools will be designated to one actor or model each and, at the end of the shoot, the tools will be thrown out or properly sanitize  and disinfected.

  • Items that are needed and cannot be put into a sample-size containers to function properly will be poured out onto a sanitized working surface such as a metal pallet or wax sheet work paper. ( e.g. setting powder., loose pigments , liquids and creams.)

  • Hand washing before works begins and maintained during the entire course of the job.

  • Once work begin the talent will be ask to keep mask on until eyes are complete and skin work begins at that time I will ask to minimize talking whenever possible.

  • No extra people in the vanities working area to accommodate for social distance. I will try to block off  job area with chairs tape or cone as a reminder to other crew members.

  • Once work is complete a on set bag touch up will be created for each individual talent with touchup product kept in sealed containers.

  • Additional on set bag with disinfecting solution  or wipes for surfaces outside if the working areas.

  • Frequently wash hands during the day

After the shoot

  • Cleaning and sanitizing all equipment used. As well as all surfaces will hospital grade disinfectant.

  • Throwing away all disposable items in
